I got a Zeo Personal Sleep Coach as a birthday present this year. I had some fun viewing my stats for the last weeks but always had some stuff in mind:
- To view the data, you have to upload it to the Zeo Website, although i registered with a fake name and location (which was necessary by the way, because the website did not offer german as an option) i don’t like the fact that someone else knows when and how i sleep. So the first thing is, to make the data useable without the Zeo Website.
- I started quantifying myself for the last weeks: I created some buttons on my smartphone that i can press, when a do a certain action, i.e. have a beer, brushing my teeth, get annoyed by other traffic participants. So i got a life-dataset with action, date and time (for future versions, i plan to log the location of the action to, hail to android!). With my sleepdata processable, i could correlate them with this life-dataset and figure something out about what makes me sleep well.
- At the back of the Zeo device there is a small socket and i wondered if you could use it for something
By following Zeo on twitter i discovered some links, that will enable me to do all the above and even much mure:
- http://blog.myzeo.com/share-and-share-alike-swap-real-time-brainwaves-with-sleep-stream-online/
So i’ll try to take some time in the next few weeks to try all this out. I’ll document everything here, hoping that someone else can use it.
